Hello everyone,

I am new to this site. I was in rehab last year expecting to get suboxone treatment but i just ended up getting better so i was released. A week later i was back on opiates and heavier than ever..i finally confessed everything to my loved ones and my last dose was yesterday afternoon. I am experiencing anxiety, cold and hot sweats, chills, and lower back pain, also sneezing if that means anything but my dr says wont start me bc oxy still showing on my urine test. Is this normal? I would love to just stop cold turkey but i dont trust myself i know i will relapse at this stage in my life. I am a single mom with three kids working full time. That is why i couldnt get off pills, there was no room for downtime. Thanks a bunch

Welcome to the site!

I have no idea how much you were using. When i started suboxone, I stopped hydrocodone for about 20 hours, and my tox was totally clean. I was at 30mg/day so it probably quickly left. I'm sure dose wise its different if you were at a much higher level of using.

Since its still showing up in your system there probably is some fear of 'precipitated withdrawal' in that a dose of Suboxone would make the withdrawal much worse.

Did the doctor make arrangements for the next day to check again? or are you just out in the cold now?
