I am always surprised that doctors doing get in trouble for 'abandonment' when they shut practices and stop prescribing buprenorphine or Suboxone. The withdrawal is one issue, but there is also a very real risk of death, by OD, in many patients. Would boards be more upset if cancer clinics suddenly closed, leaving patients in the ditch?

I'm sorry you had to go through that. They should not do that. Have you told him how it made you feel?

You make a good point with this i didn't know doctors could just close at any time especially when people have an appointment. And you're right if doctors stop treating people with cancer there'd be uproar.
