Thought I was gonna die last night. Ran out of meds and my induction was not scheduled until Thursday. I was thinking well if I go that long I might as well endure and to heck with the suboxone. I still felt like I was going to die. I have a wonderfully large jacuzzi tub where I spent the night. It was the only thing that helped. But...the doctor had a cancellation (I do believe God intervened). Inducted with 8 mg today with an extra 4 mg for this afternoon if I feel like I need it. One question though, I am using the film and the aftertaste just lingers and lingers. Other than that, I feel great. Any suggestions?

Congrats on a smooth induction! Also welcome officially to these wonderful forums. As far as taste, make sure you wait. At least 15 minutes after you dose, but just eat something, I usually eat cereal or wutever for breakfast right after. Some people i've heard, eat a lolipop or candy. Hope that helps. Continue to fight the good fight.

I've often wondered myself...how long is long enough (pill or film). I'm on the film..and sometimes I lose track of time after I dose..and I wonder if there really any benefit to longer times..or is 15 to 20 minutes about all you're going to get medicine out of?

Odd, I do not mind the taste at all. Tastes like tang to me. Anyway I am on a tiny piece of the film and it melts in just a few minutes. I usually wait no longer that 5 minutes after it disolves. I seem to be fine. I'd say on larger amounts 15-30 min. THEN SPIT!
