Hi all! I'm still going to post on my long thread, but I wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone on here who has reached out to me and helped me through the worst of my jump, cravings, and all the stuff that comes along with getting off subs.

60 days without any opiate is a big deal! (I think)

I couldn't have done it without this forum. It's been like therapy for me and feels so good to type everything out and get it off my chest.

I only hope that someone who is struggling can take a little hope away from me, or the other success stories throughout this forum. And for those who are still on subs but take the time to talk to me, a special thank you to all of you...you all know who you are. :)

Anyways, just wanted to say thank you and scream WOOHOO for me! Lol

Have a great day! ‚̧Lori

Congrats Lori! Yay!!

This forum is so wonderful, I literally feel so grateful for it. I told my dr about how grateful I was to be a moderator here. I'm thankful for every tool I have for my recovery and this forum is a huge tool. Supporting each other and helping each other is irreplaceable.

Good job again Lori! :)

I'm so glad we've been able to help along the way! I hope you decide to stick around the forum, even as you move farther away from being on sub. You have a lot of wisdom about tapering and detoxing and people who are trying to stop need advice from someone who has been there.

Amy

Awesome job if you can make 60 days you can make the rest of your life! The success stories of getting off opiates are few and far between compared to the lives forever ruined. it gives me hope to see others succeed tho that I can make it as well!

Congratulations. 60 days is a big milestone and now your already well past that. Just take it one day at a time and stay patient. It's worth it. You might have a day here and there where it feels like your wearing a leadsuit, but it will pass. Hang in there.

So very happy for you Lori! Have you had a chance to read Seaprince's story? You both give me such inspiration and the feeling that it is possible to live an opiate free life! I am down to 4mgs from 24mgs at the start in August of 2014. I am going to try going to 3mgs within the next few days. We will see how it goes! Enjoy today!
