Hi everyone!

Just thought I would give everyone an update on how things are going...
Went back to work on Thurs. after 6 weeks of being off, I had the surgery and all. Had a great day back to work. Mentally I felt awesome. Physically, my back was killing me when I came home and for a lot of the day. I attribute the pain though to my surgery, muscles being weaker. Today, I had a sore stomach, cramps.. Again though I believe that is from the surgery.

Regarding cravings, there are times when I get frustrated or mad about something that triggers me to want the other, of course opiates, but I do not cave in. I just breathe!! LOL . It does really help to just breathe. I have changed my eating habits significantly, and am really trying to be a healthier person. With the subs, I didn't care. Opiates, I was like on speed, so I didn't feel like I had to eat as much. So now it is time to eat right and exercise when I feel better. I already tried the treadmill for 25 min last week and started spotting, so that was too much, too soon. I know that exercise is important, but at the same time, I have to be careful.

I hope that everyone is doing well, not matter where you are at today. Keep your head held high, and take care of yourself!!

Hey SherGonnastop - I'm sorry I missed your update somehow.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well! You certainly seem to have a great attitude and that will carry you far.

Please stop by and keep us posted on your progress.
