Long story short, was at .5 mg for a few weeks & went down to .25 for a week & jumped. Have been on sub a year. This really hasn't been that bad...except for the random headaches and lack of sleep. Exercise doesn't do the trick anymore. Haven't been able to sleep at all the past two nights.

Was wondering if it is better to tough this out or to start taking melatonin or a sleep aid? How long is this insomnia last?

hard to say how long it will last, i suspect you'll see a good improvement by 30 days though, and even more improvement at 60 days.

Melatonin is pretty safe in the short term to my knowledge, it might be worth a shot. a lot of people on this forum seem to like clonadine for sleep, it's a blood pressure medicine i believe, but works for withdrawal apparently.
