I'm at day 30 and I still wake up a lot during the night. Haven't been using any meds for sleep. But I try my hardest to make myself tired before bed. And that's worked pretty good. It's worse if I sit around all day.

Keep up the good work. You have made it pretty far. Don't look back only ahead. And just remember it can only get better from here.

So I have been on 12mgs for 5+yrs and am just starting a taper. Can I ask what your dosage was, and how your taper/wdrawls were? Thanks!

Hi Peter! When you jump off a moderate dose, like 4 mg, it's not unusual for it to take a month or so to start a more normal sleep pattern. It's frustrating to wait for sleep to normalize! I think we take it for granted until we lack it. Hang in there!
