Since I came off suboxone, I haven't recovered like I read about other people. I had tests done at a nuerologist and he says I have DAWS and because my quality of life is so bad now, he's suggesting that I go back on a maintenance dose twice a werk for the rest of my life. I attempted suicide twice in the last two months, ended up in a psych ward. I lost everything. I'm very screwed up.

I kept telling them that I never was the same after suboxone. I never regained the ability to sleep properly. Since tapering off suboxone, I have neuropathy in my legs.

I'm 27 and I'm terrified. I'm in disbelief every day that this happened.

All my friends never came off sub and theyre doing great. Family, kids, nice houses. I've systematically lost everything in my life.

I dont know what to do.

Did you mean PAWS?
How long have you been off Sub? How long were you on it, at what dose, and did you taper off or go cold turkey? It's hard to give any feedback without more information.

I, too, struggled horribly my first year off of Sub and ended up in a psych ward. I had suffered depression prior to Sub also, so that was a factor for me. Have you been on any antidepressants or worked with a psychiatrist or psychologist? I ended up going back on a very low dose for the depression after over 2 years off, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend that.

I think a lot depends on how long you've been off and what other measures you have tried to treat your depression. I hope you'll post more of your story.
