I take Sonata to help me fall asleep. It is a sleep med similar to Ambien. I have not taken any since I started Suboxone. Does anyone know? I have a dr. appt. this Monday with my primary care physician and I don't know if I should ask him for a refill or not. Thanks in advance for replies to my inquiry.

I have been prescribed ambien while on suboxone, was also on lunesta and seroquel for sleep troubles while on suboxone so I don’t think it should be that big of deal. But I am no DR so def talk to your DR either way.

Ok, thanks for the reply. I THINK my pain mgmt. doctor said sleeping pill would be fine; my drug coverage only covers enough Ambien for half a year, then I have to switch over to Sonata. Those are the only 2 covered. If I don't take a sleeping pill, then I take 4 benedryl instead to make me fall asleep. Someohow, I've got to put a stop to that. I will ask my doctor about this. Thanks.
