Suboxone truely is a miracle medication. For those who have dealt with the horrors of opioid addiction
suboxone has literally saved lives and relationships. I myself have successfully used suboxone for three
years and the life has never been sucked out of me! In fact it keeps me in good spirits, employed, married and
most importantly sober. I have no desire to stop something that literally continues to save my life as I know
it on a daily basis. Of course I also work very diligently on my 12 step program as well!
On the other other hand, for those who stop taking Suboxone forever I say BRAVO :D ! That is your path and I
would never criticize that which works for you. So congratulations all of those who stay sober one day at a time  !

I agree with everything you've said! I've been on suboxone for 2 years now and it has never "sucked the life out of me" either. I don't do any 12-step program, but I do work diligently in therapy and I believe that's helped me a lot. And like you also said, congrats to those who've stopped sub and continue to work a healthy recovery. That's what's great about this forum, everyone supports each other no matter what their method is to stay healthy.
