Hello
My husband and I are getting ready to try and conceive a child.I have been on suboxone for 17 months. I just recently went from 8mg twice daily to 4mg twice daily. Im worried about the effects the medicine will have on our child or if I should get wheened off first? Any complications? I have been reading of SIDS and normal pregnancy. HELP I want a child in the worse way and dont want to have to wait to be wheened off.

I encourage you to go to http://www.suboxsearch.com and search my blog-- suboxonetalkzone-- for the word 'pregnancy'. I've tried to dispel the myths about buprenorphine. Here is one to get you started: http://www.suboxonetalkzone.com/withdrawal-in-newborns-lay-off-the-guilt-trip/
