Hi all,

There's usually lots of studies going on regarding suboxone/bupe at any given time. I check in on http://clinicaltrials.gov/ every so often.

Here's some current studies involving bupe. They're in different locations all across the country.

http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?t ... &recr=Open

I found it interesting that they're studying "Buprenorphine for Treatment Resistant Depression" and "Effects of Gabapentin Versus Placebo on Buprenorphine Detoxification of Opioid-dependent Individuals" and a couple studies on sub and chronic pain.

Maybe some of you will qualify. Good luck!

Cool thread idea HAT it is nice to know that there are test being done with suboxone that’s for sure you all know my views on that. Anyways it is to bad that I am on methadone already or I could of tried to been part of this studies to give my true opinion on how suboxone didn’t work for my pain and if methadone would work better.

I see this got over 100 views and was just wondering if anyone had any luck qualifying for any of these studies. Let us know if you have. (Of course they have other studies unrelated to suboxone. You can do a search for anything.)

There is a huge study lab in Phoenix. I have heard also they are getting a grant to study the antidepressant effects of Suboxone. Cymbalta was the standard for depression secondary to chronic pain. Cymbaltas' list of side effects is huge and it has to tapered like a benzo, ssri or opiate.

Thank you for posting this.
