If one were to take subs every few days or every other day would they become dependent? If so how long would it take to become dependent? When is it safe to take naltrexone after taking subs?

Thanks,

Chaz

Because of the long half life of subs, any use over 1-2x per week generally ends in physical addiction. I hope you are not chipping with subs. I understand the appeal, but it's not worth it... I've seen both sides, and my girlfriend is currently at the very least physically addicted (honestly though, I think it's more than that) to .5 mg sub per day. She actually gets sicker than I do without it. Not really worth it for something that stops giving a buzz pretty quick.

As far as the naltrexone shot - I have been told a week to ten days, I would personally go 10-14 to be sure with the long half life of subs. If you were just using occasional subs and at a low dose maybe sooner. If all opiates are not off your receptors, you will go into precipitated wd, not sure if you've been through that, I actually have not, but I've heard it's no fun - like wd x10.
