Hello everybody,
New to this forum but have been spying on here for years.
I am now on my 4th year on sub and have been lowering my dose slowly.
The funny thing is everytime I try to taper my self I can't get it to stick I always end up going back to where I was, but as time has gone by its like my body and mind is saying TO MUCH ( tired, nooding, high and so on) and the next day I lower my dose and I stay there with no issues.
I started at 5 mg a day and am now at 1.5 to 1.75
My last drop happend when I started going to the gym.
I went from 2.25-2.5 to 1.5 to 1.75.
Is this normal or is my body weird?
Thank you everybody for all the information you post as it has been a great tool for my recovery.

Yes I know that mind and body equals me but my point is
It's like my body is telling me to lower my dose while I am content where I was at
Sorry I know that sounded kinda weird

H :) I think that is great that you have been tapering kind of "naturally", personally I have found the mental part the most challenging, but posting on this site is really helping, so welcome and keep posting! When I first started my taper I also really wasn't planning on it, but had prayed about it, and one day just found myself taking less, and stayed there for awhile without problems, so just continued to slowly taper over a period of months. When I got down to 2mgs is when it got kind of scary to me, then I found this forum which has provided me with invaluable advice and support; I hope you find it as well!

Many people, including myself, have found exercise really really helpful in dropping or stopping the subs, so yes, to me this seems normal and healthy.
