Hi everyone!

So, My boyfriend bought me a really cute bike for my birthday, (May 13th, he got it about a week early for me), and I rod it to my Suboxone doctor's appointment the first time and they let me park it in the foyer, (the entrance space between the main office and outside, since there are no bike racks there), and agreed to keep an eye on it, with no problem before, but, two weeks ago I did the same thing and went to give my UA when one of the nurses peeks through the little window where you place your urine cup and asks me if someone was coming to get my bike. I said no and when I finished the staff were all, "Some woman just took off on your bike! She said she was your sister!" Yeah, no. Anyway, you can imagine how devastated I was having only had that bike for a few weeks if that. A few of the staff took off in their cars to try and catch the thief and my doctor and a few of the nurses walked over to the nearby pawn shop with me and actually bought me a used bike to replace the one stolen and said I could use their break room to store it in during my appointments if I rode it there.

My boyfriend actually ended up buying me another new bike just like the one that was stolen and this time I made sure to write down the serial number, join the national bike registry, get a heavy-duty bar locking device, a large motion-sensor padlock with alarm and scratched my info into the bike in several different places. Fool me once, right?

Really awesome if ur doctors office to go above and beyond to help u out! Honestly that doesn't happen very often. I can tell u right now, my office wouldn't have allowed anyone to bring a bike inside and definitely wouldn't have helped get me a replacement (at least I don't think so, but who knows I never tried so to be fair I'll say I'm assuming this). So that's a cool story. Glad u got another new one! :)
