I posted earlier in the week that I'd been on Restoril for a few weeks and just found out from this site that it is a Benzo. I stopped taking it but I'd like to knkow how long it takes to get out your system?

I have a appt. with a new Dr. Tues. and hoping it will be out. I already told her about it but still would like to know how long it stays in your system.

I'm pretty sure this is not the place to put it but I didn't know what thread to put it on. I it needs to be moved I'm sorry.

Thank You

Temezepam (restoril) is a shorter acting benzo which makes it good for sleep treatments. The upper end of the half life is 20hrs, probably detectable in urine for 48hrs.

The most important element of your post is that you kept your doctor informed. Keep doing that!
