Im grateful to have come across this forum!I have been on and off sub since August 6th 2010..
Let me clarify i had relapsed a few months into the program after my mother whom i was taking
care of suddenly passed away.. since then i have been working and fighting hard in finding my way. Its a fight
like no other! I have been clean since November...after relapsing in October... 2010 ..My DOC is Fentanyl (abused the fentanyl very badly) and perc 10's. when the fentanyl weren't around. The very same people who should of barred me from their life, have had a hand in saving me from drowning in my own poison!

Hello BeenThere2, welcome to the forum.

Good on you for taking steps to heal from your addiction - it's one of the hardest things to do in this life, but so rewarding. I'm glad you found Suboxone and that you found us. I hope the forum will be a good source of information and support for you along your journey.

My condolences on the loss of your mother. I lost my dad shortly after I finished my Suboxone taper and I know how hard it was for me to maintain my recovery while dealing with grief. You should be proud of yourself for getting back on track and getting the help you need. I've found that the pain and loss doesn't really go away, but eventually it moves more to the background and it's easier to recall the happier and more comforting memories.

I hope I'll see you around the forum. Please feel free to tell us more about yourself or ask any questions you might have.
