I have been on the new suboxone film now for five days. I am so much happier with the film strip than the pill. The pill made me so sick not only because of the taste but it took so long to disolve.

The strip is so easy because it is litterially ________ this size. I just bend it once in half and break in half. I put half under one side of tongue and the other on l l
the other side of my tougue. l________l
It only takes about 5 mins. to disolve. The taste is still bitter but not nearly as bad as the pills were.

Per the directions you should not put the strip on the top of your tongue as you will not get the absorbation. I have not been told by my doctor or by the pharmacy that they prescribe lower doses of the film verses the pill??

So that is how I am doing and I hope some of this information helps. :)

Hey booda,

It's good to hear you're doing well on the strip over the pills. Like you, I really don't care for the taste and I think that affects my absorption. I see my doctor this Thursday and am going to ask him about the film at that time. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
