I had my baby last month, and she experienced no NAS! I wanted to share this with you since this forum has been so helpful to me, and helped calm my nerves before I had my baby. I was so scared she would have NAS...I worried worried worried the entire pregnancy. I was able to lower my dose to about 2 mg...sometimes 4mg a day. She had no NAS symptoms, and is completely healthy! Besides suffering from colic, she has no problems. Now if only we could get over this colic so she could breastfeed!! Of course now Im worried about the subutex getting into the breastmilk...but thats a whole other issue. So to all the pregnant women out there on subutex, more than likely your babies will be fine and healthy! Dont make yourselves sick trying to stop or lower your dose too suddenly. Subutex is so much better for the baby than methadone or other opiates, and better than withdrawal while pregnant. Good luck to all the mommies out there!
