Message appears to be successfully sent, and even says "successfully sent" but on closer look message stuck in outbox. Anyone else getting this? Would a full in box on other end cause such a thing?

Anyone know?

Gratefully,
G.

Godfrey it's definitely giving trouble. I sent u a pm so let me know if u got it or not. I tried reading one today that said "deleted by author " lol I've never seen that happen before. So I definitely think it's giving problems.

Simple answer Godfrey. It stays in the Outbox until the recipient opens it. I've had several sit in my Outbox for months before I finally gave up and deleted them. Twice it was the same member asking about a Suboxone doctor in California. I took the time to type it all out and then he never opened it. Deleted it and a week later he asked for it again. Ditto, then deleted it two months later.

The other problem may lie when they first signed up. If they mis-typed their email addy then they won't be notified. One person brought that to my attention recently and I advised them to check the one they put in and viola; they had used an old address not in service.

Your Welcome,

T

Hi Jenn,

Yes, I did receive yours. I'm sure rule is correct, which means the one I just sent (which is still sitting in outbox) is waiting to be opened. I kind of feel sorry for the message :D

Thanks again, rule.

I sometimes think they ought to have a separate acronym for that:.
ALOL (actually laughing out loud) :P

I hand out my lol's very willy nilly but if u ever see a haha or lmao, then I'm laughing out loud. So I'm actually the opposite of u HTown..... which is weird because lol means laugh out loud but I'm just weird like that I guess ;)

Like HTown I usually use Hah! when I find something truly funny. But there are other times when an old fashioned lol feels right too. A self deprecating comment seems a good time to "lol". Or when something sounds weird or ironic or whatever.

I actually have used "ALOL," but it requires an accompanying explanation. Plus I don't want to somehow offend the "lol" crowd by implying they're not being sincere, or exaggerating

One acronym i really don't like because it's 99 percent insincere is ROFLMAO (or however it goes exactly.Except for Jennifer!

So I stay away from that baby as much as possible

As you can see, it's not easy being me. (lol) :D

Yeah that roflmao I have never used! I mean really, is someone really rolling around on the floor laughing? Maybe a better one for me personally is pomlmao...... which is peeing on myself laughing my a$$ off :) now that would be more believable. Lord knows I have accidentally done that lol!
