Is it good to take antibiotic for pimples? i've heard that the antibiotics would kill both good and bad bacteria in our body. and if we stop taking the antibiotic, pimples would come back. thus, once the antibiotic is taken, i would have to take it constantly. i'm desperate to get rid of my pimples and my friend recommeneded me to see a skin doctor and he/she will give me antibiotics. will it be good?

In my opinion, and I am not a doctor. I would avoid using any form of antibiotics unless it is the absolute LAST resort. Antibiotics WILL destroy the good bacteria in your body, not just the bad good bacteria. You could go online and research antibiotics. Check out alternative, hollisitc, or other methods. I am an esthetician and a massage therapist. If you wash your face once in the morining and once in the evening with cleanser that is FORMULATED for the skin on your face you should be ok. Your diet has a lot to do with your complexion. You could also try exfoliating your skin once or twice a week. If you use bar soap not formulated for the delicate skin on your face, it contains wax and will clog your pores. Google skin care for acne, there will be plenty of good info for you to read. Good luck
