I've been taking an array of amino acids on and off for around 4 years. I take phenylalanine....acetyl l-carnitine.....l-tyrosine----5-htp l-tryptophan......l-glutamate......
I don't take these everyday consistently but I sort of want to start a strict amino acid regimen. I think it may help me taper and help with studying and just improve my mental health in general.

My question is I'm not really sure if I can mix certain amino's since some compete with each other. From what I know l-glutamate cancels out l-tyrosine..... It is good to take them on an empty stomach....l-glutamate and 5-htp should be taken in the evening.....l-tyrosine and phenylalanine in the morning....etc

So questions like can I take phenylalanine and tyrosine at the same time?
l glutamate and 5 htp at the same time?

Should I just space them out the best that I can?
Should not take certain amino's every day? Which ones?

Maybe the good dr. junig can chip in if he could find the time. because this is a mystery...cant seem to find the answers on google.
