up until about a month or so ago I was on 4mg/day for the last year. I got dentures and took 80mg of straight bupe (for pain, worked frigin awesome) over about a 5 day period. Then I resumed my 4mg dose and in the 3 weeks after have gone down to 2.25mg where I have been for the last week and feeling pretty good today. the middle of last week was a little bit of a struggle but would have been better if the shop wasnt 90deg every day. I wasnt focusing too much on the reduction process to this point but I'm here now. This whole episode proved to me again that anything over about 3-4mg is more than I physically need to feel fine on sub.
what i want to do from here is go to .5mg/day in 4 months or less without it kicking my butt too bad. I'm excersising and have a good diet. cooler months are coming so I think the time is right to do this. Not to mention I finally want to do this whole heartedly. From reading I see around a 10% reduction bimonthly is a good approach but I really want to get with the program here and get to as low a dose as possibe before doing the 10% thing. So all this is leading up to this one question. At 2.25mg how far should I jump down and start a 10% taper, even if I have to go through a couple weeks of crummy. I know everyone is different but I woulld like to here from others with experience going through this range or even what some of you have read.
Once I'm at .5mg I plan on switching to a SAO for 3-4 months and then Iboga.
