Johnboy - here's an older article by Dr. Junig about sleep apnea and suboxone. You might want to read it and perhaps share it with your doctor. http://blogs.psychcentral.com/epidemic- ... eep-apnea/

You could also look through his blog as well for more on the subject.

I found this article during a Google search, but personally I don't know much about sub and sleep apnea.

Be well, Johnboy.

thank you very much hat- for the very much needed info- from Dr Junig.. BUT now i am more concerned. i don't want surgery
from a doc that did not say anything to me about my acute sl-apnea cause he's not aware the the true information Dr. Junig
provided for us a possible matter of life or death. no/ no/ no.
i can not try and tell this to dr landis/ or dr hussaion or dr kashaua or kasha- with them knowing i'm on 22mg sub.
shoot'. now i'm confused? i lost 65pds looking good. working out and sweating my --off. and now these doc's probably soon some day are going to let me fall through one of those dam deep cracks in the earth  and this now addict is going to be
totaly confused and start panic- and fall through him self' by trying to explain to all my Doctors on how to becaefull with me.
i can not wean off suboxone again for sleep apnea surgery. i just want to quit stay home now? i can not put my mind
together not knowing if just staying away/ or continue treatment :?

Johnboy, relax. Don't assume from one blog post about someone else that you'll need surgery. I just wanted you to read it for your information and education only. The best thing you can do is work with your doctors. Make sure they know how much suboxone you're on, as well as all of your other medications, including supplements. And if you need to, help your doctors to communicate with each other, if need be. But don't jump to conclusions, OK?
