DUH!!! of course you are on a high dosage of percs. Therefore, the Suboxone.

I can't understand why there is so much confusion with Subs for some people. It comes at a bad time as it is, you are usually sick at that point and want to go home, take your subs and lay down a while for goodness sake.

I know what you are going through. It was like that at first for me too. But, just like the mg. amount, these things level out too.

let's hope you're home by now and on your way to feeling better.

Let me know what happened.

Love, Queenie

When it comes to dosing, it's always good to listen to your mind/body. The idea is to be on a dose that takes care of the w/d symptoms as well as cravings. You might be fine at 8 or 12 mg. It just depends on how you feel. In the beginning of treatment, many people dose more than once a day and start out at a slightly higher dose. Eventually most people end up dosing only once per day - it gets us out of the habit of dosing when we feel "bad". Suboxone has a mean half-life of 37 hours, so once daily dosing works well. So for now dose what and when you need to address your cravings. You can always get down to a lower stable dose later on.

12 mgs will be more then enough. I was perscribed OXY 200 mgs a day for 4 years and my first dose was 12 then another 12 in the pm. But my point being if i didnt take SUB for pain that the 12 would of gotten me threw the day just fine.
